The eve of Independence Day was a kaleidoscope
of cultural programme. The day began with the Slogan
Writing Competition by the students of Alliance World
School. Their slogans were oozed with patriotic feeling
towards the nation. It was a pride to have IBN7 for
the successful coverage of the programme. .
Next to follow was march-past by AWS students. To lead
with the zeal of Independent India, the cultural programme
started with the patriotic songs, “Hindusthan
Humara hai”, “Mera Mulk Mera Desh”
and “We shall overcome” beautifully co-ordinated
by Alliance Global Kidz.
The whole school was mesmerized with the wonderful Kathak
solo performance by Varalika and teachers held their
breath with the trio casio presentation by Vishrut Shahi,
Varalika Shahi and Ria Bansal of class-I.
Students of class I and II danced on “Nanha-Munha
Rahi Hoon” which was a must watch presentation
along with the enthusiastic speech by Ishaan Saxena
of class-VII. The speech was about the significance
and celebration of Independence Day in India
The students of class II sang “Ae watan ae watan”
in their melodious voice.
Ishaan Saxena of class VII played the song “Sare
jahan se acha” on synthesizer and the students
of class III Tanya Taj, Ananya Singh and Gunjan Rawat
sang beautifully.
Then we had Rabindranath‘s famous poem “Where
the mind is without fear” recited by students
of class-III Ananya Singh, Tanya Taj and Atharav Promod
Naik .
Our Contemporary Dance Group from AWS, TanyaTaj, Ananya
Singh and Gunjan Rawat from class III and PrachiChauhan,
Ritu Kumari and Sapna Raturi of class VI performed on
song Vande Matram instrumented by A.R.Rehman our Oscar
award winner in 2009.
Our “Rock ‘n’ Roll” band which
involved the students from classes III to VII performed
on A.R.Rehman’s Maa tujhe salaam. The whole ambience
was filled with patriotism.
The school was beautifully decorated with kites, balloons
and slogans giving a message of patriotism.
The programme concluded with National Anthem sung by
the family of ALLIANCE WORLD SCHOOL.
