The Rangoli and diya decoration competition for the school children was held on 19 October 2011 as scheduled. The competition was divided into two categories: StageI and II took part in diya decorating competition and from Stage III to VIII in Rangoli making competition. The competition started at 2.00 pm at assembly hall. The Rangoli participants were divided into four groups and Diya decorating participants into eight groups.. The purpose of the event was to give opportunity for the student to develop creativity in art. The material and the stuffs were provided by the school. The students were given one and a half hour to complete the paintings and decorations. The school was well organized for its performances in competition. The students have enthusiastically participated in both Rangoli making and Diya decorating competitions.

Ms Shruti Sharma and Ms Rashi (the art teacher of the school) judged the  Rangoli Making and Diya decorations. The results were declared on 20 October 2011 in the assembly.

The winners of the Rangoli Making competition are as follows:

Ist Place : Group II   (Krish,Kanak,Tripti,Lalit).

IInd Place: Group III & IV   (Ishan,Sapna,Khushi,Vipul,Ayush,Gajendra,Pratibha,Chetan).

IIIrd Place : Group I     (Abhinav,Joshua,Prachi,Deepak).

The winners of Diya decoration competition are as follows:

Ist Place : Group III & V   (Anoushka,Apurva,Ayub,Lakshita,Princess,Prabeer,Saurabh,Saksham,Mridul,Snehal, Raj,Sanjeet)

II Place : Group VII (Vishrut,Tanish,Yash,Esha,Shubhankar,Arbaz,Adityaraj,Shivansh,Nayan,Julie,Tanya,Ria, Varalika,Harsh).

III Place : Group II & IV (Aditi,Ajeant,Kashvi,Himanish,Aman,Tanishi,Tanu,Satvik,Shiny,Gunjan,Yatharth,Vanshika, Ilman,Pranay)

The competition concluded at3.50 pm.Teachers and the Students appreciated the way in which the competition was conducted.
