The arts have proved to be a powerful tool for complex
and diversified learning for children and teenagers.
But what we need is a new "arts education"
model of school reform: the arts-integrated school.
The arts-integrated school seeks to inspire and instruct
students through the many art forms that appeal so strongly
to young people. Art eases stress and boosts confidence
levels.
Children learn best through exploration and play. This
involves allowing them to work with many items in the
art area The best way for a child to learn is to play.
Through messy play, children use all of their senses
to learn. Children use all 5 senses when learning something
new, sight, smell, touch and hearing .The best part
about children is their imagination. If we let them
use it they have great ones and put their minds to work
in a very constructive way and bring a lot of good things
to learning new skills. |
